Software: Keygroup belcanto syntax oddity.

Working on a setup, I notice that to choose a keygroup output you need the keygroup in the conversation, and to say 'output X choose'. To toggle individual outputs you now need to say 'keygroup output X enable set' - why the need for the addition 'keygroup'? If I put these on talkers then they read 'keygroup 1 hey output 1 choose' and 'keygroup 1 hey keygroup output 1 enable set'.

Is there a reason for the asymmetry?
