2020-12-02T20:45:38+00:00NothanUmberhttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/25305/The Windows version of EigenD also currently still only supports 32 bit plugins. The usual workaround is to use MIDI out and host plugins in an external host.

Are Eigenharps and/or accessories still being sold? (General Discussion)
2020-08-19T05:36:43+01:00flachttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/25147/Hello all,
I got an error during checkout in the online store (details below), but it leads to a larger question: are Eigenharps still being made? I tried the contact form some weeks ago but didn't hear back.
I'm particularly interested in the Alpha; it's such a brilliant instrument that it would be tragic for it to be endangered or extinct!
On other forums I've heard different things:
- The online store is currently broken but Eigenharps can still be bought via email + bank transfer
- Eigenharps are no longer being made but existing Tau stock is still available
- Eigenharps are no longer being made but accessories are available in the online store
[The actual online error I got was "Error: Your order cannot be processed. Please try again later." when it got to https://www.eigenlabs.com/store/checkout/credit/confirm/]

Bitwig and the Alpha (General Discussion)
2019-12-14T10:04:12+00:00NothanUmberhttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/18789/EigenD implements most features of MPE, so yes, most things should work. You need a midi out in your EigenD setup, set this to some MIDI loopback device (e.g. loopMidi or LoopBe-1 on Windows or the out-of-the-box midi loopback in MacOS) and set this as input in Bitwig.
Alternatively (if you are on MacOS) you might experiment with the VST version of MEC from Technobear, that works as a VST plugin inside Bitwig, directly talks to the Eigenharp and outputs MIDI.

2019-10-22T11:03:07+01:00Starlord http://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/17002/Hello fellow music enthusiasts! I've long since been a huge fan of these instruments. But when they came out my budget was fat from being able to afford one. Don't get me wrong it's still a stretch but I'd love to try to find an alpha or a tau. If anyone has one they are considering letting go I'd be happy to discuss terms and can promise it a loving and wonderful home where it will be played often and used at performances. Please please reach out if you have any info on where to find one or would like yours to have a new home. Thank you in advance for reading and happy harping!

transfering ownership Pico (General Discussion)
2019-08-31T11:08:57+01:00johnhttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/14895/You do not need to do anything to transfer ownership of a Pico. The operating software is now Open Source and freely available. There is a version available for download on our website here:
http://www.eigenlabs.com/downloads/latest/pro/
There is also a more up to date community release maintained by Mark Harris which supports the latest versions of MacOS and has a number of improvements, you can read about that here:
http://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/id/1501/
There is a community discourse server run by Mark that has lots of conversation on it here:

Complaint (?) about Workbench from a new user (General Discussion)
2019-07-26T12:04:33+01:00Peter Ostryhttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/14606/Thank you for explaining the circumstances, I appreciate that very much.
Since I decided to keep my Eigenharp Pico (which was not clear after the first problems), I am willing to help with further development.
1. I have some knowledge of programming, but only high level. I am not a c++ or Python programmer, so I cannot help with coding. But from my own company I am used to talk to programmers and once we found a common language I should be able to communicate in a constructive fashion.
2. Maybe there is a bug/feature list already, maybe not. I will ask Mark about that.
3. I am used to write documentations and I am one of the few people who like that. I will contact you, we can talk about the improvements by email.

Complaint (?) about Workbench from a new user (General Discussion)
2019-07-26T09:24:22+01:00johnhttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/14605/EigenD is free, you do not pay for it. It is open source and you are very welcome to contributre to its development and add these features. Adding the functionality you want would probably not be too difficult, things like that are not intrinsic to the architecture, they are certainly not 'deep in the core programming'. I would certainly encourage you to have a go if the lack of these feautures is a serious issue for you. 'Cut and paste' and setup versioning would be nice to have, go for it.
You do seem to be under a slight misapprehension about Eigenharps. I sell them for about what the parts cost me, I don't actually make any profit selling them. Eigenharps are a passion for me, not a profit making business. EigenD had over £2M of software development prior to me releasing it under the GPL, it's a complex piece of software. I couldn't keep funding the development beyond a certain point, I don't have a bottomless pot of money, so if you find things missing that you'd like I can only encourage you to open up your development system , fire up git and get cracking, we all apreciate someone contributing and I'm sure Mark (who leads the community release) would welcome you.
If you'd like to assist with improving the documentation and don't think it is extensive enough then this is also possible, it's a Wiki and the one thing no-one likes is writing docs, so I end up keeping that up myself. If you have ideas about that and want to write some entries please get in touch with me directly.

Setting the talker's criteria (Help)
2019-07-25T14:22:47+01:00Peter Ostryhttp://www.eigenlabs.com/forum/threads/post/14583/I think there is a misunderstanding, the task I mean is simple. I try to explain it in a different way:
I have a MIDI input. It's 'key output' connects to a Talker's 'key input'. In the action interface I set the key column to 1 and the key row to the note number expected by this action. That's it, the incoming note triggers Belcanto phrases.
Wish 1:
I would prefer CCs over notes. The MIDI input has a CC output. So I want a Talker action react to a certain CC channel/number/value coming from the MIDI input. It works with notes but how does it work with CCs? If all three CC components are not possible, I can use channel/number or number/value pairs.
Please have a look at the screen shots.
I want the same functionality but with incoming CCs instead of notes.
