I installed the regular version of 2.0.42 with no problem, then realized that I needed the Pro version. When I tried to install that version, it failed somewhere in the middle and, looking at the folders, it appears that
A) EigenD, Stage and Workbench were deleted from the 2.0.39 folder
B) EigenD and Stage were installed in 2.0.42-experimental folder and there's a partially installed Workbench, which doesn't work.

I tried running the new EigenD and it's loading an initial default setup and the setups that I created don't show up in the list

I can't explain the installer problem, but in regards to your custom setups not showing up, you have to manually copy them.

e.g. you have to copy the required EigenD setup files from your mac user Library folder\Eigenlabs\2.0.38-experimental\Setups to Eigenlabs\2.0.42-experimental\Setups folder.

Obviously the paths I've mentioned there would be slightly different for different version numbers.

I was able to go back and reinstall 2.0.39 so at least I'm still operational.

Yeah, I forgot they were in that Setups folder.

Hopefully the installer problem will get fixed ... I'm eager to update my Max stuff to handle the change to OSC handling that Geert did.

Any news on a fix for this installer problem?

I think there is a fair chance you might be the only person with this problem, and maybe it could be related to you having stuff installed in a different location.

Have you tried 2.0.44?

I might be the only one....so far! 2.0.39 installed fine after some extra arguments were added in the install process.
I didn't know there was a 2.0.44 (should subscribers be automatically notified of new releases?) but I just tried it and it worked fine. Since I don't know what was done to the installer, I don't know what the error was but I'd be more suspicious of an installer flaw than of my environment.
