Geert has been experimenting with Moog's Slim Phatty synth, Workbench and EigenD 2.0. He's routing the audio from the synth back into EigenD and using that to create all sorts of great expressivity on top of what is already a great sounding synth being played from his Alpha. I thought you might all be interested:

Watch here on Youtube.

Listen (audio only) on Soundcloud.

There's a detailed description of the setup on both pages.

Interesting possibilities, indeed!

Yes, this is a very interesting turn of events. Let me observe that, with relatively few additional agents (if any) and 'patch-cord-ability' provided by the workbench, the phatty becomes unnecessary (or my Voyager + foggers for that matter)

Having a fully capable subtractive synthesis engine entirely internal EigenD (vs, say, one of the many virtual analog AUs) add a great deal of value to the product (as in one does not need to buy a lot of stuff not just the synths, but the equipment needed to interconnect it).

In my own case, that would cover the full cost of a Tau easily.
