Is it possible to change the duration of the event in the arrangers? In otherwords, can one lengthen / set the time between the keypress and release?

If so, can the note be sustained longer than a step without re-attacking?

I've read this: http://www.eigenlabs.com/wiki/Arranger_Row_Definition/
but it didn't help much. It says: "The duration of the note (in seconds, between a and b) - optional, default is c" but gives no hint as to the values of these or where they come from.

Does this imply that I need to re-do the entire arranger to change the duration of each note or can c be set globally?

cheers, m

Hi Mike,
Just for the sake of this question does not go unanswered ...

I've bin looking at the arranger and how to change the duration of the events.

#This will connect arranger 1 to midi out 1.
if you want other destination, just change this accordingly. ( don't how many rows there are?)

#to clear up

empty join
arranger 1 listen
audio unit rig 4 recorder listen
1 cancel
2 cancel
3 cancel
4 cancel
5 cancel

#put in the new duration (in seconds, again don't know the default)

empty join
arranger 1 listen

midi rig 1 recorder listen
note 1 with velocity 100 for 3 second when 1 play

note 2 with velocity 100 for 3 second when 2 play

note 3 with velocity 100 for 3 second when 3 play

note 4 with velocity 100 for 3 second when 4 play

note 5 with velocity 100 for 3 second when 5 play

If you would like to correct/change (either velocity or duration) just "call" arranger X and sound recorder then X cancel , and redo.

More ideas around the arranger I welcome them...
