Software: OS X Lion

I have found that since installing Lion my MBP runs hotter, the fan is on more often, the battery life is at best halved and the charge time is doubled or tripled. Anyone else having problems like this?

In case anyone was curious or worried ... I just updated to OS X Lion and EigenD 1.3.16 still works flawlessly. No issues so far.

That's nice to know - we haven't got to trying here yet. Please let us know if you experience any problems...

I just ran the Alpha with EigenD 1.3.26 on my OS X Lion system and that also works without a hitch. Well done indeed by both Eigenlabs and Apple.

Actually, I've tried 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 a couple of hours ago and announced on Twitter that preliminary testing looked very good.

However, be careful, quite some AU and VST plugins aren't compatible with Lion yet, for instance Spectrasonic and Native Instruments. So even if EigenD work, you might not be able to use exactly the same plugins as before.

Take care,

Actually Trillian worked perfectly fine in Lion with the Alpha. I haven't tried Komplete yet however.

I'm upgrading a bootable backup of my main machine now, I'll check which of my AUs have problems.

For me, with Lion, it seems that using the same setup I used with Snow, now EigenD consumes more CPU.

Somebody else has the same experience ?

hmmmm..... I'd guess better use of multiple cores/threads. I find a lot of things using more cpu but also running faster
