First cut at an action-focussed tutorial guide for the Tau. I was making these notes in any case, and thought it worth putting them into a more useful format. Let me know (a) if any of you find it useful, (b) whether I should carry on and complete it, (c) if there's anything unclear or incorrect.

Nice! Feels like the "missing doc". As much as I like the videos, I have to admit doc is still my preferred way to answer "how do I..." questions when learning (or writing) new tech. Much more random access and learn-as-you-go

This is going to make learning the Tau so much easier when I get it in a couple of weeks. Can you have them all done by then ;-)

Thanks very very much David.

Edward Tufte would be proud.

Best Tefman.

Now I gotta work out a chord chart...... for major & chromatic scales.

Tefman - tried EigenTab ? It should help and I'm about to start on the Tau add-in?

(shameless plug of my own work :) )

Hi Tefman - yes, Tufte's a big influence! Well spotted...

Wow! That is really wonderful. I wish you owned an Alpha.

Really nice work there.

Chord charts? +1 million

David - that's fantastic, and I second jsn's comment in that it feels like the 'missing doc'.

Fantastic job!

Version 0.2 now posted - extra pages dealing with lock button :-) percussion key instrument selection and toggling drum loops/metronome.

New version of the Tau Visual Guide (v0.6), with recording and scheduler info, corrections and enhancements, and a fine new home page, at http://teamsandtechnology.com/TauGuide/

Quite nice. Eigenlabs would be wise to loan you the other instruments for awhile. ;)
