A few years ago I ran into Sid Fels and we started a discussion about WX5's and other wind instruments. The point was that the WX5 is an intimate instrument (or perhaps we just meant visceral). People here have said the same thing about their Alpha (and I agree)

As intimate / visceral as a single instrument can be for one person, so it this for two. Just reflect for a moment being connected to another person in this way.
We have seen duo's performed on the Alpha but what we have yet to see are two Alphas joined in a way that causes the two players to collaborate on the work in this, more direct, manner
