What sounds are you all currently using with your Alpha/Pico/Tau, and where did you get them?

Thanks!

Getting good sound fonts is a problem and the convertors don't support the latest Kontakt versions, which is what I have most of my sounds in. Converting EXS Logic instruments works quite well though with the demo of CDXtract, and I've done a bit of that. Besides that, there's http://sonart.cc that has a large collection of sound font instruments, as well as http://www.sonivoxmi.com. Finally, I've been using Direct Strat from http://www.jensensamples.com/ a lot with Guitar Rig as an amp simulator. I've spent quite a while using google to find free sound fonts and but liked none of them really.

I'm mostly using AU instruments:
* Native Instruments Komplete (contains all Native Instruments virtual instruments), most notably Kontakt 4
* Spectrasonics Omnisphere
* Spectrasonics Trilian

I'm not a big fan of Camel Audio Alchemy, certainly not compared to Omnisphere, but I suppose that's a matter of taste. You can use any Audio Unit instrument and there are a lot out there ... just need to spend time testing them :-)

Hope this helps,

Geert
