@barnone, huh? Just warning folks so they don't click those old links.

Downloaded the zip, there is some good stuff here, thanks for creating and sharing these!

BTW, I found a freeware Soundfont editor called Viena (not to be confused with Vienna), but have not had time to play with it yet so don't know how useful it is. You can get it at :

Hi everyone. I discovered something tonight. The sample playback engine in eigenD is pretty damn impressive. It is tweaking many different performance envelopes on the samples at a very high resolution. This means that samples that may sound quite static come alive.

So I went and grabbed some samples that I had captured from my modular, autosampled and completely unedited and converted them to soundfonts to play with. Some are quite playable I think.

I am extremely excited because this allows for new sound creations on my modular to come to life with quite amazing performance capabilities.
Anyway..these are completely from me and you can use them anyway you wish except of course to repackage into a sample set of your own that is commercially sold. Commercial use on an album or any performance work is totally great.

Yeah, I've been converting samples to soundfonts and noticed the same. They sound much better with the EigenD sample player. I'm looking for a soundfont sample editor though, not just a convertor or a creator. Any recommendations?

I'm really happy with redmatica's AutoSampler, so I'm sticking with them and converting. Using the ChickenSys converter. It works but the interface is terrible and it crashes all the time. I think eigenlabs had a recommendation somewhere.

Yeah, they recommend cdxtract, but it doesn't always work and the editing functions are quite rudimentary.

@barnone, maybe you could create a soundfonts section on http://wiki.eigenzone.org and add yours there?

OK, added a page to eigenzone for sharing this stuff.

There are 3 new soundfont sets at the end as well.

Sorry, forgot I posted those individual links.

I zipped up the 23 font sets into one zip. Huge..@375meg, but you can grab now.

Have fun,
