Hey stuwyatt.

Thanks very much for the R&D on double scales ...... I'm gonna try 'em tomorrow.

Althought, I hope you don't mind if I invert 'em........ for me lower should be lower down
the instrument.

Hi.

I've been spending the weekend experimenting with keyboard layouts that will get the most out of the Pico, and the one that has worked the best for me so far is a two-course pentatonic scale, with one course being major pentatonic, and the other minor pentatonic.

My fingers are finding some very interesting ways to change chord shapes, and there are many scales that can be squeezed out of jumping between the two.

Disability prevents me from utilising the standard Pico fingering methods, and I know that there are probably others who are also having difficulties adapting to the standard fingering, so I thought I'd share the scale:

[TC Maj/Min pentatonic]
;Two courses. Major on one, Minor on another
intervals=0 2 4 7 0 3 5 7 9 12 14 16 10 12 15 17 24

Add this to Library --> Eigenlabs --> Scale Manager --> User Scales.txt

Have fun :)

For more freedom:

[TC Maj/Min pentatonic Sharpened Min]
;Two courses. Major on one, Minor on another
intervals=0 2 4 7 0 3 5 8 9 12 14 16 10 12 15 17 24

[TC Maj/Min pentatonic Sharpened Maj]
;Two courses. Major on one, Minor on another
intervals=0 2 4 8 0 3 5 7 9 12 14 16 10 12 15 17 24

I removed the duplication of the 7th.
