ok, you will definitely need 2.1.7 , the Eigenlabs will definitely kernel panic, but 2.1.7 does not.

you will need to ensure that you are using the 1.0.1 runtime.
(though you needed to do that to install 2.17)

I was running on 10.12 without any issue - though I recommend you upgrade to the latest 10.12 release - 10.12.6?

Ive now moved to 10.13.2, and that is also working fine with all Eigenharp models.

Note: you should always quit EigenD BEFORE unplugging the Pico.

Hey guys,

Looking for a bit of help here regarding the EigenD software.

I have recently installed the latest community release 2.1.7 and everything seems to be fine then when I wish to quit the instrument the lights start flipping out and flickering then I get a kernel panic message.

I've been reading through various posts and tried installing varying versions of the software but to to avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
