Short note: Mark's Creator was successfully tested with Windows (download the files from github https://github.com/TheTechnobear/Eigenharp/tree/master/, there is a creator.bat startscript in creator/bin)

Wonderful program!

Creator has been updated to include a new tool to allow easier creation of musical layouts.
single command allows you to create layout keys vertically, horizontally, in blocks ... also in descending or ascending order. supports all eigenharps.

as others have shown, changing layouts can be very beneficial for different pieces, and creativity as it changes fingering and also the available range.

details as always on G+

also watch G+ community,

in a few days I will be releasing my second agent (scale illuminator) ... very useful for those learning chromatic scale, or using unfamiliar layouts, or for just improved 'reference points' on keyboard.
G+ is also where I announce changes to OSC Pad agent (for linking eigenharps to Ableton Live), and Creator

the layout creation is now fully integrated into the new Creator 2.0
see:
https://plus.google.com/communities/113007469663952313892

this means they can be changed on the fly, integrated into 'creator setups' or generated as script files for easy loading via talkers etc.

Creator 2.0 is java based and uses XML/RPC to talk directly to EigenD and so the layout changes are now also faster.
(as no intermediate files or python scripts to be executed)

the java code should work under windows, though there is no command line wrapper for windows. if you look at the shell script provided for mac osx, it would be simple to adapt for windows.
