Hey guys,

I'm trying to connect the Delay Return in the Mixer tab on Stage to a midi cc pedal.

I can drag a cable across in Workbench, and then select to filter for cc 27. This gets the dial on the stage gui moving with my foot but there is a problem.

The dial for the delay return goes from -70 to +14, and the foot controller only seems to be able to control the + values. The 0 to 127 range of the controller is scaled to the 0 to +14 portion of the dial instead of the whole range of -70 to +14.

Does that make sense? Any ideas how I can scale the midi cc to cover the whole range??

You guys rock

Take a look at the Ranger agent. I suspect adding one between the midi pedal output and the mixer input might do what you need.

It was a good call @GoneCaving about the Ranger!! but it's tricky...

ok...
connect midi input 1 - continuous controller output to RANGER input
RANGER output (input filter to the CC you want) to console mixer
ex:
- Master volume or - Effect Delay volume
in Ranger
abolute - ON
curve - at your will (0 is linear) on my desk to center 0 i have curve 0.2
maximum - 14.0 (the end of the knob)
minimum - 0.0
mono - ON
rest - 70.0
sticky - OFF

- Master Pan
in Ranger
abolute - ON
curve - at your will (0 is linear) on my desk to center 0 i have curve 0.2
maximum - 1.0 (the end of the knob)
minimum - -1.0
mono - ON
rest - -1.0
sticky - OFF

Hope this helps
Happy CC' ing around

Hey Keyman,

Thanks for that! I've had a little go, but I can't seem to get anything to come out of the ranger. The only thing that seems to have an effect is changing the rest to -70, that puts it in the right place, (using stage to monitor). But the level wont move at all, unlike before i used the ranger when it at least moved, but the wrong about.

Any ideas?

ummm
Double check please...
connect midi input 1 - continuous controller output to RANGER input
(not to any controls! just input) don't filter here also!

RANGER output to console mixer - try with the Master volume?
in this wire go to connections details and input filter to the CC + control CT - you want

Should get you going...
