Sorry, did not follow the Category...

You are correct mention global time talker - each entry has a different value at the start - correspond to the number of bars to be recorder.

The key press order is: choose bar lenght (red keys) then instrument to be recorded (amber keys), go back to mode key and select the same instrument, as soon as you play, the recorder is automatically engaged

Mode key+ key 5 (Recording Control)

red keys
key 1 - 1 bar record
key 2 - 2 bar record
key 3 - 4 bar record
key 4 - 8 bar record
key 5 - 16 bar record
key 6 - 32 bar record
key 7 - unplay

Amber keys
key 1 - AU 1
key 2 - AU 2
key 3 - AU 3
key 4 - AU 4
key 5 - midi out 1
key 6 - midi out 2
key 7 - midi out 3
key 8 - midi out 4

Just exchange the instruments to this setup...

I'm having difficulty changing the number of bars to be recorded. Have taken a look at he Workbench view of the setup and its Talkers' Belcanto, but can't grok how to set the number of bars to be recorded for the 4 AUs.

Anyone played with this and/or could give me a heads up? Much appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy

HI Randy...

If you "can't hunt with the dog, hunt with the cat...

audio unit rig 1 listen
recorder 1 listen
X bar record

Other then this if you look inside global time talker and each instrument X recorder talker, it's a variable "thing"

" 1 bar as recorder bar define all recorder talker hey 2 re do " do
( you can just edit - global time talker)

I had looked at the Global Time Talker. Each entry has a different value at the start. Isn't the setup already configured to change the number of bars depending on the key pressed?

There are 8 yellow and 8 red keys. The bottom yellow key cancels all recordings.

I can't figure out the order in which to press them to, for example, change AU2 to record 4 bars. I tried multiple combinations, but all I get is AU1 at (IIRC) 1 bar.

Thanks.

Randy

Reading the TAU Quick_Reference_Guide - 1.3.29

Think it's clear!??! (message me G+...?!?)

Pico, not Tau. Question is about one of the Factory setups for Pico.
