I wondered what fellow eigenharpers felt about having a gig guide/gig review on the forum. There is a lot about the techy side, but not so much about getting on stage and just playing the instrument. I would very much like to see other players in action in a live environment. Is there a place for a gigging category?

I'll start -:)

I'm playing at B.B. King (New York City) on Saturday night, August 11th and I will be using the Eigenharp for at least one comple song (San Jacinto) and depending on the final setlist, possibly another one.

I'll carry on then...

I'm at the 'Here Comes The Sun' Festival at the Rising Sun Arts Centre in Reading UK on 4 August under the name of 'mo-min-ti'. I will be using the Pico for much of the set, through logic and mainstage with the help of the RC300 looper (and maybe the odd iphone app)

Evening of 8/30, Royce Gallery in SF CA, a show of vocal music by or inspired by John Cage, part of PamelaZ's "Room" series. I'm finishing up a piece for a vocalist I often collaborate with (Julie Queen) and will perform it with her - first time performing on the Tau publicly, (have performed live with the pico in the past).

Next performance for me is in Huguenot NY at the Electro-Music 2012 festival, September 7th. Solo Eigenharp Alpha, 1/2 hour. I'll be on the Alpha, probably with just the iPad along to help with managing the performance.

I'm also playing in a collaboration called Tovara Vox which will play Friday as well. The event will be streamed on radio.electro-music.com so you can still listen if you want.

Hi

Does anyone know of eigenharp players / bands available for hire? I absolutely love the sound these instruments produce...really want some of these sounds at my wedding next year!

Cheers
Bobby

I'll be using the Eigenharp to cover all non-guitar/drum/bass parts for three of the songs from our setlist, including San Jacinto, Rhythm of the Heat and Family/Fishing Net. That last one was a blast to set up!

I live over near Hull, but am in Cardiff (plus Southampton & Ipswich) fairly frequently with work. Where in South Wales are you?

Cheers, Mark.
