Senior Buyer

A Senior Buyer is sought to manage the procurement and purchasing of electronic and mechanical components and sub-assemblies. The responsibilities of the job include management of supplier relationships, sub-contractors, quality control and inventory control, resulting in a smooth and cost effective supply of component parts into the production process. The role includes the implementation of stock control systems, ensuring safety stock levels and managing supplier lead-times.
Requirements: A good degree, preferably with a bias toward electronic engineering. Significant experience in purchasing technical components. A track record in supplier negotiations and relationship management. Excellent computer skills and an affinity towards working in a dynamic small company environment.

PR Manager

Our PR Manager will develop a range of music and media related activities associated with the commercial launch of the eigenharp. The role will involve the development of innovative public relations initiatives that will excite and captivate our target market - musicians. Event management, artist liaison, press liaison (both consumer and trade music press), combined with online and guerilla marketing initiatives are all likely to form part of the PR picture. We're looking for a highly motivated self starter with heaps of drive and imagination.
Requirements: Significant experience in music PR focussed on contemporary music and musicians, excellent interpersonal and written skills, preferably a good degree, with excellent computer skills and a thorough understanding of the online world.

Music Software Programmer

With a bias toward music programming, we're looking for someone with good C or C++ skills, plus experience in writing software for musical instruments in either embedded hardware or PC/Mac environments. The role will involve working within an exceptionally creative team of programmers on the development of our musical instrument software. A keen interest in music, coupled with a working knowledge of music theory would be a distinct advantage.
Requirements: A good degree. A full understanding of sound production in software is essential. Experience with the VST or AudioUnit standards is an advantage although not essential. Experience with GUI design is not necessary.
Based in Devon, part time home working a possibility.

Production Technician

A Production Technician is sought to carry out the specialised electrical and mechanical assemblies involved in the manufacture of our instruments. The role involves meticulous assembly work with exceptional attention to detail and very high quality standards. Some machining and delicate hand finishing work will be involved. Other aspects of the work include the checking of incoming materials, the maintenance of production records and assembly instructions, inventory control and some part ordering.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 Good GCE's/O-levels. At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with some metal and woodworking skill. A practical and hands-on approach. Good communication and interpersonal skills with an affinity towards working within a dynamic small team. Good computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and word-processing an advantage.
